MicroMagnet Factory — Golden Example
The Reference Product
LinkedIn About Section Rewriter — the first MicroMagnet produced by this factory.
What It Does
Takes a rough description of what someone does and produces a ready-to-paste LinkedIn About section in their voice.
Why It's the Golden Example
It passes all seven MicroMagnet criteria:
| Criterion | How It Passes |
|---|---|
| Splinter, not tree | One problem: bad LinkedIn About section. Not "fix your whole LinkedIn presence." Core skill action runs in under 2 minutes. |
| Produces output | A complete About section — copy, paste, done. Not a score or analysis. |
| Pre-AI precedent | Personal branding consultants charge $500-$2K for LinkedIn profile optimization. |
| Doesn't cannibalize | LinkedIn copy is not what Practice Builders sells. Practice Builders builds practice infrastructure. |
| Hot + Safe | Everyone with a LinkedIn profile wants this. Paste a paragraph, get it back in 2 minutes. |
| Complete solution | After running it, they're done. Paste into LinkedIn. No step 2. |
| The Gap | Leaves unsolved: everything else on their LinkedIn profile (headline, featured, experience, posts). Points to a broader profile-build offer as the adjacent next step. |
Positioning Note
The example ships Niche — specifically for LinkedIn (one platform). A Universal version would generalize to "any platform profile rewriter" but loses the specific traction LinkedIn provides. Some splinters are better kept niche. This is one.

What to Study Before Building
Read the skill file and note:
- YAML frontmatter — how the description field includes trigger phrases naturally
- Prospect-facing framing — opens with what the user gets, not with internal structure
- What You Paste / What You Get Back — the promise at the top, before the method
- The Method — cheat code expanded into working instructions Claude follows. Constraints live inline, not in a separate Rules section.
- Output template — complete structure with every section placeholder, copy-pasteable
- The Next Step — CTA PowerUp, 3 sentences, one link
What you will NOT see in the shipped skill file (these live in the kit, not in the output):
- Core Principle section
- Standalone Rules section
- Embedded Quality Check table

Architecture Pattern
Input: Rough description (paste what you'd say at dinner)
↓
Process: Read for voice → match register → structure into sections
↓
Output: Hook → Positioning → Credibility → Services → Location → CTA
↓
Result: Copy. Paste into LinkedIn. Done.
Every MicroMagnet follows this pattern: messy input → structured transformation → immediately usable output.
Nano Pattern
The nano extracted from this micromagnet: the Hook formula alone, delivered as a one-page swipe file with 5 worked examples. Pulled from the skill's first method step. No CTA. Works standalone — a prospect can use the Hook swipe without running the full rewriter.
