QC Checklist — LinkedIn Hand-Raiser Posts
Run this checklist before posting. Every "No" requires a fix.
Hook
- [ ] Is the hook specific and quantifiable?
- Bad: "Most people struggle with systems"
- Good: "Every time you write a proposal from scratch, you're making a choice"
- [ ] Does the hook create recognition?
- Reader should think "that's me" within first 2 lines
- [ ] Is it a problem, not a philosophy?
- No teaching. Just the pain made visible.
Process Breakdown
- [ ] Is there a numbered list of steps?
- Must have 5-8 steps
- [ ] Does every step have a time estimate?
- (X min) after each step
- [ ] Would the reader recognize this process as their own?
- Steps should feel painfully familiar
- [ ] Is there a total at the end?
- "That's about X hours per [unit]."
Compound Math
- [ ] Is the single instance multiplied to ongoing cost?
- Per month, per year, forever
- [ ] Is there repetition for emphasis?
- "Per month. Every month. Forever."
- [ ] Does it create a visceral "oh no" reaction?
- The math should be uncomfortable
Contrast Story
- [ ] Is there a contrast story?
- Someone who escaped. Before → After.
- [ ] Is it 2-3 sentences maximum?
- Not an essay. Just the arc.
- [ ] Does it show dramatic time compression?
- X hours → Y minutes
Anchor Phrase
- [ ] Is there a memorable line?
- Write it here: ___
- [ ] Is it bold?
- Should stand out visually
- [ ] Is it quotable?
- Would someone screenshot it?
Micro-Tool Offer
- [ ] Is the micro-tool named specifically?
- Bad: "I have a resource"
- Good: "I made a 2-minute diagnostic that tells you X"
- [ ] Is the time/effort stated?
- "Takes 2 minutes" / "5 questions" / "90 seconds"
- [ ] Is the output stated?
- "Tells you which system to build first"
Keyword CTA
- [ ] Is there one keyword?
- Not two. Not a phrase. One word.
- [ ] Is it ALL CAPS?
- BUILD not build
- [ ] Does it relate to the concept?
- CEILING for positioning, BUILD for systems, etc.
- [ ] Is the CTA exactly this format?
- "Comment KEYWORD and I'll send it to you."
Signature Block
- [ ] Is it 3-4 lines?
- Not a bio. Just positioning.
- [ ] Does it use consistent emoji format?

👉🏼 [One-line positioning]
✅ Follow for [value promise]
- [ ] Is it the same across all posts?
- Consistency builds recognition
Length & Format
- [ ] Under 200 words (before signature)?
- Count them. Posts should be scannable.
- [ ] Plenty of white space?
- Line breaks between sections
- [ ] Numbered lists are used?
- Not paragraphs of text
Voice Check
- [ ] No teaching or philosophy?
- The post shows the problem, doesn't explain the concept
- [ ] No service pitch?
- Only offer is the micro-tool
- [ ] No marketing speak?
- Sounds human, not like a funnel
- [ ] Would Kathryn say this on a call?
- Read it aloud
Alignment Check
- [ ] Does the post match a thought leadership piece?
- The micro-tool should bridge to existing content
- [ ] Does the keyword have a micro-tool ready?
- Don't post until the tool is built
- [ ] Is the tracking system set up?
- Ready to capture comments and send DMs
Ship Criteria
Post when:
- All checkboxes pass
- Micro-tool is built and tested
- DM templates are ready
- Tracking system is set up
Don't post when:
- Over 200 words
- Vague micro-tool offer
- Multiple keywords/asks
- No matching micro-tool ready
- Teaching instead of showing
Post-Publish
After posting:
- Monitor comments within first hour
- Send DM 1 immediately to each commenter
- Log in tracking spreadsheet
- Note engagement rate vs. other posts
- Track which commenters convert
