A client emailed me last week:
"Everyone is switching to Claude from ChatGPT. Do you have any insight?"
That email isn't about software.
She wanted to know who in her circle has figured this out — and whether I'm that person.
Your clients are asking someone this right now. A colleague, a vendor, a friend who "knows tech."
If you don't have a clear answer, they'll find someone who does.
Skip the AI expertise. A clear point of view and a solid recommendation — that's the bar.
Here's what mine sounds like:
"Hold off on any decisions until we talk. I want to make sure we set it up the right way for you and your business goals."
One sentence changes the entire dynamic.
Advisors showing up with a clear position on AI are the ones clients call first.
